Laying patterns
All laying at a Glance
WIP 5100, WIP 4100, WIP 550, WIP 450, WP Trend 25, WP Strip and WP Wave Wideboard need to be completely adhered to the subfloor. All WP Charisma products can be completely adhered to the subfloor.
WP Classic, WP Maxima and WP Wave Solid Board can be completely adhered to the subfloor. Solid Boards WP Natura have only limited suitability for a complete adhesion.
SUITABLE SUBFLOORS:
Concrete, anhydrite floor, cast concrete and chipboard (v100/e1) are suitable subfloors for a complete adhesion.
UNDERFLOOR HEATING:
The species Beech, Mountain Maple and Canadian Maple at 2-layer and 3-layer parquet as well as Solid Floors in general have only limited suitability.
RECOMMENDED ADHESIVES:
Profi -SMP-Glue no. 900 (for 2- and 3-layer parquet) and Profi -SMP Glue no. 1000. If you intend to use adhesives other than those recommended, please seek the recommendations of the alternative adhesive manufacturer.

3-layer Parquet WP Charisma can be adhered to the subfloor by the liquid batten adhesion in combination with Profi -Parkett Silent Layer Mat 3 mm. This is a secure and totally flexible alternative which increases walking-comfort and helps to reduce subsonic noise (-14 dB).

3-layer parquet WP Charisma can be laid onto a dry and even subfloor using its glueless “Double-Click” System. Subsonic noise may be reduced by approx. 20 dB by using the 3.5mm, 100% natural fi bre underlay
The base for a floating floor installation must be clean, dry, even and solid. All wall-to-wall carpeting must be removed. Existing adhered PVC or linoleum floors may, depending on their condition, serve as a suitable base. Please test the base for evenness: Variations of more than 2 mm per 100 cm must be levelled out with a suitable levelling compound.

SECRET NAILING
WP Classic and Natura can be nailed onto a soft wooden subfl oor.
This is the ideal method of installation for Solid Floorboards. (e.g. slight variations in the dimension of the elements)
NAILING TO BUFFER BEAMS
WP Classic and WP Natura can be nailed onto buffer beams. The centre to centre spacing of the buffer beams should be 50 cm. This method of installation is only recommended for areas of normal use.

WHAT IS MAINTENANCE-FREE PARQUET
Weitzer Parkett are the first and only manufacturer of this type of parquet flooring. For residential use the complicated and time consuming maintenance is no longer required. For ProStrong and ProActive+ surfaces only a light clean is required.
